Ava loved it though! She wanted a castle cake with lots of layers. I made the bottom layer the moat--she wanted worms in her moat and mike and ike's to be jewels.

I can't believe she is already five! She is so much fun and is always saying funny things. We love our Ava!
Ava's friend Carter came by and dropped a gift off--this lovely crown. He clearly understands her decree that she is Queen!
Ava tells me all the time--"I do NOT want to marry Carter, Mom."
Translation--"I REALLY want to marry Carter, Mom."
Kind-of like when she says--"Those cookies don't look THAT good mom."
