Blindfolded

Isabelle was in charge of FHE two weeks ago, and she did awesome. It was a blindfolded evening. First was pin the prophet. Then, we practiced putting make-up and lotion on each other--while blindfolded. Finally, we had a drawing contest--again, while blindfolded.

Diamondbacks

We finally made it to Chase field to see the Diamondbacks!! It's a cool stadium! We stayed until the seventh inning and the D-backs were up by about six, and wouldn't you know it in the eighth inning they gave up like 10 runs and ended up losing 14 to 7. It was fun though!

Lemon Aid

No, that is not spelled wrong! Isabelle, Ava, and Mackenzie had a lemonade stand the other day. They decorated the sign themselves, and by the time I saw it I didn't have the heart to correct it--so it was a LemonAid stand. Quite fitting actually, as it was 108 outside!!

They made out like the cute little bandits they are! They made $10.50, with the lemonade and cookies at 25 cents a pop! Not bad! They were pretty organized too, right down to the toy cash machine! Gotta love it!



(I think I deserve mother of the year after sitting out there with them in the heat for an hour.)

4th of July

We had a fun 4th of July with our friends, the Wright's and Pottle's. The kids were more interested in climbing the neighborhood sign and decorating it with their glow sticks than the fireworks!
