Put me in coach...

...I'm ready!

I've been trying so hard to steer him away from football--this is definitely a step in the wrong direction!

Day one of helmet went pretty smoothly--look how happy he is! Of course, he's such a mellow, happy kid, I could probably wrap him in needle laced blankets and he'd go with it, smiling all the while!

Smith Halloween Annual Spooktacular!

We had tons of fun at the Smiths annual Halloween party Saturday night!
We went as Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae--zombie style, of course! (I thought it was quite fitting)

Snot a stick--not as good as it looks. Wait...
Really, not very good! What?! Pretzels dipped in cheese Wiz with green food coloring--not good?! I know--shocker!
But they looked cool!

People kept asking what we were, so I was surprised when we took home the trophy for most creative costume! Woo-hoo! I'm not going to complain--this is probably the coolest trophy I've ever gotten!

Proud winners!

Too cool winners!

Only other pic I have thanks to the Pribyl's. Some other trophy winners--Ben Stevenson (wife front and center below), and the Pribyl's.

Thriller Dance--Look for it on YouTube! (Picture stolen from Allen's blog! Thanks :) )

Bowling Fun

My kids had never been bowling before. (I know, how down-right un-American of us!) We rectified that over fall break.
We had fun with the Wrights!

How adorable is she?

Ready to bowl!

Awesome form!

But, this form must work too...

...because, the winner is..........AVA!

Fun!!

Doughnuts!!

Homemade no less! Chocolate (nutella) and cinnamon and sugar.

Heart shaped.

Ava likes them dunked in a little milk!

Yum!

Yum!

Tommy practiced eating puffs while we made our doughnuts.

He's doing awesome, only one problem--which handful to eat first!
