Easter!

Kiddos

All three!

Why do I always find myself just staring at him--even when he's asleep?!

Lovin' on Tommy

When grandma came to help with Tommy, she got my kids hooked on the Fablehaven series. (Okay, okay...I kinda like it too!)

Oh, Ava...We Love You!

Food Storage?

Spring is in the air..............
Saturday morning we woke up to a swarm of bees flying around outside Tommy's window. Apparently the little mesh cover over one of the ventillation holes is missing, and the bees decided this would be a good place to call home. This particular hole must lead to Tommy's room. I found this out the hard way, because when I went in his room to put his clothes away I knelt down to open a drawer, and knelt right on a bee. It's been a while since I've been stung--it hurts!! Looking around, there were about ten dead bees lying all over the place. I closed the door and declared it off limits until the bees were gone. Later that night I asked Belle to go get some pajamas for Tommy from his room, to which she replied, "I don't think so....NO WAY!"
Oh, yeah, we've started our own hive and become beekeepers! I asked Belle what she thought about just keeping the bees for food storage purposes--just think, we'd always have a fresh supply of honey on hand! I thought she was going to cry. It became a more dire situation when Ava was stung coming out of church on Sunday. She was hesitant to even go in the house because she didn't want to get stung again! She finally went in, and RAN past Tommy's room.
Guess we're going to have to store honey some other way!

TOMMY!!!

The night before delivery. Dilated to a ten and ready to go. (I'm totally doped up--can you tell?)
And here he is!!!
He weighed 9 pounds 5 ounces, and was 22.5 inches long.
Proud mama.
There was a smudge on the lens of the camera for a bunch of these photos. It looks like I'm trying to cut certain people out, but that is not the case! His poor face was completely bruised, which is why he looks black and blue--he is black and blue!
Grandma Hunsaker and aunt Suzi were able to be in the delivery room when he was born.
Here's grandma and grandson.

Proud parents.
Aunt Suzi.
The big guy!
Battle wounds!
Getting ready to come home.

The girls were disappointed that they weren't going to be able to see him in the hospital, but he ended up having to go to the NICU for a night becuase he had jaundice, and they ended up getting to see him after all.
Soooo excited!
Checkin' him out.
In the NICU. He had to sleep in a little tent with flourescent lights all around him--complete with a pair of tanning bed goggles.
Isabelle and Ava toasting Tommy's arrival.

Finally home.

They love him so much!
They are already great helpers!
First bath.

Ava loves holding Tommy.

Grandma White came to help out. (She is not allowed to leave--ever!!)
