Hitchin'

A week ago Sunday, Belle's hand was somehow in the wrong place at the wrong time. Her thumb got slammed in the door. At church--you know, the heavy doors. Of all days too--I had another class in with mine that day (I teach her primary class--and yes, I was MIA at the time of the incident), and every kid decided to show up that day (yes, that is usually a good thing, but sixteen kids, one of whom is in hysterics, half boys ready to take advantage of just such an opportunity...). Anyhow, enough about poor me! Check out her thumb! I don't think she'll end up losing her fingernail after all (which is another entry altogether!).
