Grandma Hunsaker Turns 90!

Beau (Tom will be referred to with his first name throughout this post to avoid any confusion that may arise between he and his namesake! (And because I like it!)) and I had the opportunity to go to Utah last weekend to celebrate his paternal grandmother's 90th birthday. It was a great time! We got to see all of his cousins and aunts an uncles that we don't get to see very often. It was also a neat experience because ten years ago, while we were engaged, I went with Beau to meet his extended family at her 80th birthday bash! How time flies!!

The view coming into Honeyville, the town where she and grandpa lived together all of their married lives.

Can you believe it--90!!

Jerald (her second son) pinning on her crosage.

Brooke paying tribute to grandma.

Aimee and Jen convey their feelings via poetry!

The great grandkids singing songs they have learned from grandma.

Doug presenting his slideshow.

The daughters

Jeff (third son) and family singing what can only be described as a moving number!

Dad (aka Tom and first son) was the MC.

The birthday girl!

Like father, like son...

Leave it to Beau to take a gourmet meal and do this!

Yum!

A fun scrapbook was on display.

This table was set up to display grandma through the years.

After the party we headed to the cemetery to visit grandpa's grave. Dad showing Abby some of her heritage.
