Not sure when she turned into a young woman...

Seriously!

Belle before the school talent show. She sang 'If I Die Young' by The Band Perry. She was fab, of course!

What's different?

(Hint--besides the hair! (Yes, that is different too!))

No glasses!!! Woo-hoo! I got lasik, and I'm lovin' it! (Then bangs to go with the new look.)

Tommy is 2!!

Tommy loves cars, so we went with a car themed cake. As soon as he saw it with one of his cars on it though, he just kept saying, "Oh, no" and tried to get it off!

Ava really wanted him to be faster about opening his presents, and was more than willing to help him along!

(It's MY party. Why do I have to put up with this!)

Trying everything out.

Car overload!

Happy guy!

We love our laid back, happy, car-lovin' little guy!!

Around here lately...

Tommy jumping. I took a shower one day and called for Tommy after I got dressed, but he didn't answer. I found him out on the trampoline having a great time!

Farmer Tom--putting in our fruit trees! So excited!

Wicked

We went to see the play Wicked a few weeks ago. It was such a good play. Isabelle loved it, and Ava loved dressing up for it!
Ready for the show to start! (I forgot my camera, and my phone doesn't have a flash!)

On the way home!

Ragnar 2012

I had the chance to participate in Ragnar this weekend. I had been wanting to do it for a couple of years, so when Alyson and Nicole invited me to join their team I jumped on it! I almost thwarted my opportunity when I dropped a can of corn on my foot putting groceries away a few weeks before the race. But, when life gives you corn...I make cornbread? Yeah...I'll go with that, cause there certainly wasn't any lemonade involved! But, I made it, and it was an awesome experience. The ladies on our team were amazing and so much fun!
All ready to start!

We had our own mascot even!

The starting line.

The first leg was particularly demanding--so we called in Big Earl! Check out that form!

Like I said, it was a demanding one!

Our team support was given in style!

Water is for....US! (Especially if it is Nicole's 'special' water!!)

I must have poked Tausha putting her number on...she was so good not to say anything!

And she's off!

Heading back to the van after an exchange point.

Annie's running was so delicate she was named Prancer--maybe the key lies somewhere in her playlist. I somehow never got a running shot!

Self proclaimed #2 (okay, her shirt deemed her as such)was a #1 here!

Nothing quite like reaching an exchange point! This one Alisa was particularly grateful for I think!

Trying to get a shot of Tausha.

Finally got it! Too bad she wasn't just getting done with one of her legs--she wears sweat well! :)

Thank goodness for snuggies and slankets!

Finish line.

Taking pride in my accomplishment!

Finally done--A little Jamba Juice helps make everything better!

But a seat was even better!

Van 1 Team shot. These ladies were so much fun! Running 200 miles never looked so good, don't you think?!

Finally heading home.

Sporting my medal!
