Spring

So a week or so ago I notice Belle carrying her bug container around. I didn't think anything of it, until I saw her carefully putting leaves and twigs in later. Apparently a dog isn't enough, she needed a pet caterpillar. I smiled and sent her on her way bidding the poor caterpillar a painless death yet realizing the end was all too near for him. My suspicions were affirmed a couple of days later when I saw Spring (as 'she' was now known) writhing in her own fluids. I decided to put off the inevetible conversation that would have to happen with Belle. And boy am I glad I did! Turns out that the 'writhing in fluids' stuff is what caterpillars do before forming their COCOONS!! (Yes, I feel stupid.) Anyhow, we now have a butterfly/MOTH to look forward to!

Car Ride

Only an eight year old would volunteer her seat for her dog! Isabelle was helping pack the car and arranged everything so she could get 'the' spot between the car seat and the dog kennel! She was soo excited! It quickly wore off. But, they made the most of it! (The whole 'shake it' theme in our fam as of late I don't quite get--but it kept them happy, so I'm going with it!)

Primary Talent Show!

Isabelle sang 'Got to Go My Own Way' from High School Musical 2.

Ava was a little gun shy, so Belle took her out to help her. I'm a little dense, and didn't realize the camera wasn't on, and so only got the tail end of her awesome spin move (aided by Belle).
