They must have been good this year!

(Don't tell my kids, but a lot of Christmas this year came from Craigslist!! Woo hoo!!)

I love that quiet, peaceful moment when everyone is asleep and everything is set up and the lights are twinkling!

Ready for Santa!!

New PJ's on, that can only mean one thing!! SANTA IS COMING!!

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve morning, our tradition is to go to Golden Corral.  Ava, who ended her year without sugar the day before, had a doughnut, a cupcake, pancakes with tons of syrup, chocolate fountain assortment, chocolate milk, some other junk I'm forgetting, and topped it all off with cotton candy!
Our fun friends, the Wilson's, joined us for Christmas Eve dinner and reenactment! They are good sports!

Ava's "Winter Concert"

In my mind, it was the "Christmas" concert! So pretty!

Stitches?...I don't need no stinkin' stitches!!

While cleaning Ava's room, Tommy tripped over the mess, and his head met the edge of her desk. It was deep, but straight, so I threw on a butterfly and called it good. (There is definitely a scar! He's a boy, so it's ok right??!!)

And...back to normal!

Cleaning the pig sty...

I mean, Ava's room! At this point, I was almost done. This is nothing to what it really looked like!

She has been threatened that it is never to look like that again!! But, look!! The FLOOR!

TRAINS!!

Tommy is soooo into trains right now. At the mall at Christmas time, they have a fun train running around. Little boy nirvana!!
